The exercise of the right to adequate housing linked to the freedom of association: Analysis of Figueroa v. Los Jardines de Nogales’ Housing Committee

Abstract

It is common knowledge that the infringement of the right to adequate housing is part of our reality and on account of the pandemic, this phenomenon has been severely shown to us. Along with this is the fact that Courts do not provide due legal remedies whether is for ask its fulfillment, or to request the halt of any act that can put at risk its exercise. Regardless of the prior, this work claims to highlight the main aspects of the Supreme Court’s ruling of March, 15 of 2021, which sets finally a proper position for the right to adequate housing in the jurisdictional work.
